Meredith is an Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Specialty at Emory University. She is also a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing clinically since 2010. Meredith graduated from UAB School of Nursing in 2010 after working as an RN for 7 years. Most recently, she graduated from Emory University with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in Health Systems Leadership in 2021. She started her practice as an NNP in Phoenix, Arizona, before moving back to the south. She has worked in Alabama and, most recently, in Georgia. Meredith also enjoys working in locum positions to gain further experience at different practice sites.
Meredith's professional interests include improving the NNP workforce, shift length and fatigue, innovative recruiting strategies, ensuring health equity in the NICU by diversifying the neonatal nurse practitioner workforce.
