Staff Nurse SIG Facilitator

SIG Facilitators work to build community and conversation around a special interest topic area. This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for both the novice or experienced volunteer.

What does the Staff Nurse SIG Facilitator do?

• Stimulate and facilitate discussions for your SIG via the MyNANN member community
• Write one article for NANN E-News
• Attend NANN’s annual conference to chair the SIG roundtable
• Participate in teleconferences when needed
• Meet briefly with other facilitators and the SIG Director-at-Large at NANN’s annual conference
• Submit a report to the board for their mid-year and annual meetings

What kind of volunteer is NANN looking for?

• NANN member in good standing
• Passionate about topics relating to staff nurses
• Communicative, enjoys networking, and leading robust conversations
• Strong writer
• Ability to meet deadlines

What is the time commitment?

• One hour per month
• Two year term
