What does an E-News author do?
Feature Article Authors will help to create content for an electronic newsletter by contributing short, quality articles about NANN news, clinical information, and current events in neonatal nursing.
A NANN E-News Article Author is responsible for writing an article to be shared in various ways with the neonatal community by NANN. An E-News article should be around 800-900 words in length.
Feature Article Topic Suggestions: NANN is seeking articles that address issues that NANN members face in their day-to-day work with patients and families, colleagues, administrators, and/or the community at large. Especially sought are timely, topical articles covering topics such as
· compelling and informative case studies that illustrate a specific clinical, administrative or regulatory issue.
· new and innovative programs and methods of delivering neonatal care
· discussion of how to handle a specific aspect of patient care (e.g., communication, medication management, etc.)
· overview of issues encountered in a specific area of care, including the perspectives of other medical specialists who may have specialty-specific experience and knowledge that can help neonatal medicine care providers improve their work with patients and families
· vignettes describing the author’s personal experience, challenges, successes, or methods for providing care or otherwise doing the work they do
What kind of volunteer is NANN looking for?

- No prior volunteer experience needed
What is the time commitment for this role?
This is a micro-volunteer opportunity. Simply write the article and you are done. However, if you have multiple articles to share and enjoy writing, please let us know. Articles may also be used in other NANN communications.
