I have been a board certified NNP since 1994 practicing in upstate NY. In 2017 I graduated from University of Connecticut's DNP program. In 2016, I joined UCONN as adjunct faculty and in 2017 I joined UCONN as full time faculty. My research dissertation included assessment of the level of Moral Distress among NICU nurses caring for newborns whose mothers used illicit substances during pregnancy. I am the new director of the NNP Program at the University of Connecticut (UConn) starting August, 2022.
