Bio

Jennifer Wilson has always wanted to be a nurse, and now in her senior years of nursing she loves to share the wisdom of her broad and diverse career. She truly believes that nurses make a difference in every patient’s experience. She remains employed in the pharmaceutical industry since the Spring of 2017
as a Clinical Nurse Educator. After completing her BSN in 1992, she started her career at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She was young and adventurous and traveled abroad as a nurse for a few years. When she returned to Baltimore, she completed her Master’s Degree and started her career as a
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Johns Hopkins Hospital. During her career, she has done both rotary wing and ground transport as the lead NP, presented posters and podium presentations at national and international nursing conferences, and facilitated a variety of education initiatives at Johns Hopkins
Hospital, Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview. In addition to maintaining a clinical practice at Johns Hopkins Hospital Neonatal ICU for the last 25 years, she has also worked in a variety of community settings to help appreciate the availability of resources and approaches to care.
