Volunteer Profile

I was a volunteer with NANNP for the nominations committee. I currently volunteer with National Certification Corporation to write questions for the NeuroNICU certification exam. I volunteer as a Texas Nurse practitioner legislative ambassador. I have also served on the Awards Review Panel, Research and abstract review panel and the Beacon review panel for AACN. I volunteer for The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) and have done so in the following capacities: NCLEX Item review panel 2011, 2015 and 2017, NCLEX Item Writer and on the item review panel for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing 2008, 2019 & 2021. I have been on the Texas Organization of Nurse Executives strategic planning committee 2016-2018 and Texas Nurse Practitioner Neonatal Advisory Committee 2016-2018. I am highly motivated and dedicated to advancing the nursing profession and would love the opportunity volunteer more for my professional organization.
