Hi! I am an NNP in a level II nursery in Wyoming. I take of neonates 32 weeks and greater and peds up to the age of two. Why- you may ask? Over a decade ago, the community pediatricians were having challenges with covering their own private practice as well as the hospital. At that time, I was invited to join the hospitalist system as an NNP to assist with coverage. Prior to that I was the unit director for maternal child services for over two decades. I also currently work as a contract NNP for a hospital in NE.
My husband, Jeff, and I will be celebrating 40 years of marriage this year. We have three children who have thriving careers. They are all married so we are blessed with two amazing daughters in law and one son in law. We celebrate having eight grandchildren- four boys and four girls. They are the highlight of our lives.
