I own my own neonatal nursing practice and education company. I consult with various companies regarding development and use of neonatal supplies and equipment, provide PICC courses, NICU Review Courses, NRP Instructor courses and other educational activities according to need. I also coordinate and organize nursing research in my hospital as well as for manufacturers. The purpose of the research is to provide a basis for evidence-based care.
I am working at University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center as a nurse clinical research coordinator. As such, I coordinate the NICHD trials through the NICU at UNM.
My particular areas of interest are infusion therapy, skin/wound care management and care of the late preterm infant.
