What does the SIG Facilitator do?

  • Stimulate and facilitate discussions for your SIG via the MyNANN member community.
  • Write one article for NANN E-News
  • Attend NANN’s annual conference to chair the SIG roundtable
  • Participate in teleconferences when needed.
  • Meet briefly with other facilitators and the SIG Director-at-Large at NANN’s annual conference.
  • Submit a report to the board for their mid-year and annual meetings.
What kind of volunteer is NANN looking for?

  • NANN member in good standing
  • Passionate about the topic of research
  • Communicative, enjoys networking and leading robust conversations
  • Strong writer
  • Ability to meet deadlines
What is the time commitment?
  • One hour per month 
How long is the term?
  • Two year term with an option to renew for one additional term
