What does the Professional Development Committee do?
The Professional Development Committee aims to provide neonatal nurses opportunities for mentoring and professional development in a variety of clinical and professional practice areas, as well as career development and the potential for leadership within NANN. This committee also supports the Emerging Leader Fellowship program and the soon-to-be released e-Mentoring Program.
What kind of volunteer is NANN looking for?
- Interest in professional and leadership development.
- A NANN member in good standing and currently practicing in neonatal nursing in a role such as clinical care, education, research, administration, or consulting.
What is the time commitment?
Approximately 1 to 2 hours per month.
How long is the term?This volunteer role is a two year commitment, with an option to renew for one additional term.
