Bio

I am currently an NNP and the Program Chair for the Neonatal NP program at Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. I am a certified wound nurse and completed a PhD at the University of WI Milwaukee in 2019. My focus of research is diaper dermatitis among NICU infants.

In 2012 and 2013, I was nominated for the Nurse Excellence Award at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and also served as President of the Southern Wisconsin Chapter of NANN. I completed the Maternal Child Health Leadership Academy, supported by Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) nursing honor society. I am currently the Director at Large with NANN and serve as the liaison to the Neonatal-Perinatal Section of the American Academy of Pediatrics for NANN. I also teach NICU Review Courses nationally.

I have also presented posters and podium presentations on skin care nationally, including the NANN Conference, NANT, and STTI.  I also published several articles related to neonatal skin care.
