If you are looking for a change or are a new graduate, please consider Mercy Medical Center's Level III NICU. We would love to talk to you to see if we are a good fit for your professional goals.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Mercy is a Level III-B NICU delivering comprehensive care to the smallest of patients in Baltimore. Our incredibly cohesive Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) team, offering self-scheduling, and dual NNP 24/7 clinical coverage is currently seeking a fellow NNP to join this dynamic group. The successful candidate will provide independent assessment, identification, diagnosis and treatment of critically ill newborns. The NNP will also provide care, support and collaborative medical management of infants in Labor and Delivery and the Full Term Nursery as needed. Teaching and mentoring NNP and medical students is also integral to the role.

Mercy Medical Center, located in Downtown Baltimore just five blocks from our famed Inner Harbor, is a Magnet-designated facility, and celebrates a rich history and visible dedication to serving the needs of the Baltimore community. Our 26 bed, state of the art single patient room NICU offers a family centered approach to care of the neonate. Our academic affiliation with the University of Maryland, and in particular, our relationship with the University of Maryland School of Nursing and the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program offers the NNP candidate opportunity for educational advancement.

Our staff and the service they provide our patients are the most important elements in living out our mission. Each day, we are reminded of the values inspired by the Sisters of Mercy and each day we continue to bring them to life in all that we do.

We offer an attractive compensation/benefits package and ongoing opportunity for professional growth. For more information and to apply online, visit Mercy online at www.mdmercy.com. For questions or more information, please call Mary Walters at 484-347-4094 or email me at marynnp@me.com.
